Summer 2014: Artwork
It's My Party
by Amy Robinson
Size: 9″ x 12″
Medium: Watercolor
Artist Statement:
In this piece, I am portraying a woman who does what she wants in life. I chose to feature her eyes in greatest detail. My choice in doing this was to draw the audience into her. I want the audience to view her as a person, not only a painting. The audience may take their own story of her life away from the piece, but I chose to feature her because I truly admire that she treats life as a party.
