Summer 2014: Artwork
Untitled with a Flamingo
by Amy Robinson
Size: 5″ x 7″
Medium: Watercolor
Artist Statement:
The person in this piece is placed in a world she doesn’t belong in. The owl on her head represents her. Owls are often hidden from us in our daily lives. In this piece, I am trying to portray how this person not only hides, but also puts up walls against those around her. Her facial expression shows her uneasiness in this world.
