Summer 2016: Poetry
on my two thousand, seven hundred and fourth sabbath
by Melanie Green
purple freesia
on the pine table
simplicity
in the gathering
stillness
may i abandon
jostle
and over-strive
hinder
and sham
may i abandon
thinking
god is a man
oh sweet worded
clear sounding
refuge
heaven is within
sunlight
lays itself across
the golden
table
