Summer 2016: Poetry
Allegiance
by Melanie Green
Dusk,
return me
to my
self,
and silhouette
the leafless
tree.
Oh fumbled love,
how far
I strayed
from my
contemplative.
Dusk,
intuitive
deepen
into
dark.
Bring down
the stars,
I have
lost
my way.
