Summer 2015: Young Voices
Introduction
In a spirit of renewal, each of our young voices presents strong, contrasting images of youth, and hope; of age, and endurance. A vibrant appreciation for life and its various fragile forms sings in the words chosen to take us to settings as foreign as a fading regime, and as common as a school exam. Without previewing a specific selection, let me entice you by saying that simple words like "rise" and "work" and "home" will have expanded definitions at the end of your reading.
