Winter 2013: Artwork
Blowing Bubbles
by Betty Joe Armstrong
Medium: Digital Photography
Artist Statement:
One summer day, my grandson Paul was blowing bubbles while I tried to photograph them before they popped or were gobbled by Penny, our golden retriever. I played with the resulting shimmering, iridescent orbs, wondering how many ways one could understand a bubble. "Blowing Bubbles" is the result.
